About The Resource Library

About The Resource Library

The Resource Library was created by a Registered Psychologist to provide practical mental health resources for individuals and professionals.

The resources available here are built using approaches commonly used in psychological practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure Therapy and other therapeutic approaches where appropriate. Each worksheet, toolkit and workbook is designed to help people better understand their mental health and develop practical skills they can use in everyday life.

Built From Clinical Practice

Through clinical practice, it became clear that many people struggled to find resources that were both easy to understand and genuinely useful outside of therapy. Some were too basic to provide meaningful understanding, while others were too overwhelming to apply in day-to-day life.

The Resource Library was created to provide practical resources that explain psychological concepts in a clear, structured and accessible way. The goal is to help people continue learning and practising skills both within and outside of therapy.

Who These Resources Are For

These resources are suitable for individuals who want to better understand their mental health and develop practical coping skills. Whether you are working independently or alongside a mental health professional, the resources are designed to support learning, reflection and skill development.

They are also suitable for psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, educators and mental health students looking for printable resources to use in their work. Many of the worksheets and toolkits can be used during sessions, as between-session homework or as psychoeducational resources.

What Makes These Resources Different

Every resource is developed with three goals in mind.

1. Easy to Understand

Concepts are broken down into clear, practical explanations that are easy to follow without oversimplifying the topic.

2. Practical to Use

The resources are designed to be completed, not just read. They include guided reflection, worksheets, planning tools and practical exercises that encourage people to apply what they have learned.

3. Designed for Real Life

The focus is on creating resources that can be used in everyday situations, whether you are working on your own, alongside a therapist or supporting others in a professional role.

Important Information

These resources are educational and are not intended to replace assessment or treatment from a qualified mental health professional.
